SELF-INITIATED PUBLISHING PROJECT
FOCUSED ON ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY

OVERVIEW
Media Culture Madness is an independent photography publication documenting contemporary subculture through analogue photography. Founded as a self-initiated publishing project, it has grown into an ongoing platform bringing together photographers from across Sweden through carefully curated print publications and release events.

ROLE
Founder / Publisher / Art Director
Concept, Creative Direction, Curation, Editorial Design, Production & Marketing

CONTEXT
The project was created to build a long-term platform for analogue photography, connecting photographers through a shared physical publication. Each volume documents contemporary subculture while creating a lasting printed archive.

EXECUTION
I lead every stage of the project, from concept development and photographer curation to visual identity, editorial design, production, marketing and launch events. The publication is produced independently under Studiofinito.

OUTCOME
Two volumes have been published, accompanied by release events in both Malmö and Stockholm. The project has evolved into a recurring independent publication and creative platform, bringing together photographers and audiences around contemporary analogue photography.

CREDITS
Contributors: Selected photographers from the analogue photography community.

Media Culture Madness Volume II marked the next stage in the publication’s development. While the first edition established the foundation, the second focused on evolving Media Culture Madness into an established independent publishing brand.

The visual identity expanded across editorial design, social media, campaign assets, exhibitions, merchandise, retail collaborations and launch events. Every element was developed as part of one cohesive identity, creating a consistent experience across both digital and physical platforms.
